I was able to attend this year’s CES and see some of the innovative technologies coming to the consumer space on automobiles, mobile, televisions, games, and even toys. Some pictures from the event.
Bad news and good news. There’s a conflict this Saturday, so unfortunately, I need to postpone this month’s tourney. With Memorial Day coming up right after, I’m pushing out the next game two weeks. New date will be 6/4 (weekend after Memorial Day).
Now for the good news: in lieu of my tourney, there’s a March of Dimes charity tourney in Escondido being held this Saturday night. Buy-in is $60 with half of the buy-in going to the MoD. Food and drinks (including alcoholic) will be provided as well as raffle prizes. It’s a great cause for a great charity! Bonus: you can write-off the $30 portion of your buy-in on your taxes.
If you’re interested, please reply and I’ll send you the info. As of Tuesday morning, they have 25 players and expect to get more by Saturday.
Thanks and hope to see you on Saturday.

Maddy and I went out to the trails with Keith and Landon on Sunday to scout out some hunting spots as the season opened today. We were both very surprised at the number of turkeys we saw and the lack of hunters…both good things!
Here are some pictures of the turkeys as well as some playing in the snow and off-roading on the way back.
Remind me to buy beer before 10 toddlers come over to our house! 🙂
A few pictures of Maddy opening-up some presents from Grandpa and Grandma Smith, too.
